NINA JACKSON. Co-founder and Board Member
Jackson co-founded JSL Communications as well as providing technical support and financing for the business. She was co-founder of Lockert-Jackson and Associates, Inc. in 1987. She provided funding, editing and technical expertise required to grow the company to a $2 million business before it was acquired. She and Lockert developed the EMS distance learning product Emergency Medical Update and she directed and edited the initial programs. Jackson worked 30 years as an editor for both national and local news programs. She also worked at a volunteer firefighter, EMT and paramedic.

JEFF LINDSEY. Ph.D., CFO, EMT-P. Education Coordinator, holds a doctorate and master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Southern Florida, a bachelor's in Fire and Safety Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, and an associate in Paramedic from Harrisburg Area Community College.

ELLEN LOCKERT. Co-founder, Sales and Marketing
Lockert co-founded JSL Communications and leads the sales and marketing effort. Lockert was co-founder and President of Lockert-Jackson and Associates, a distance learning company serving the emergency and safety markets. In 1987 she and co-founder Nina Jackson originated Emergency Medical Update, an EMS distance learning product. In 1984, the company launched Safety Watch, an OSHA mandated safety training program for the industrial sector. Lockert grew the company to $2 million in revenue in seven years. Lockert’s experience as an EMMY award winning television producer has prepared her to create a wide range of programming for a variety of markets.

MARIT SALTRONES, Co-founder, Product Development, Operations and Finance
Marit Saltrones has been involved in e-content development and management since the industry’s inception. She has managed rapid growth and numerous product launches. Marit has managed the development and launch of successful workplace training product lines. She executed the beta offering of cable-modem service, facilitated the acquisition of a competitor, and was president of the Rotary Club of Bainbridge Island. Her career spans the public and private sectors. Earlier in her career, she was research manager for the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and has 10 years experience in public health research and health education, and 15 years experience in business management. She has a B.S. degree in Psychology and Media from Evergreen State College.
